Eind 2013, begon het allemaal heel bescheiden tijdens een buurtfeest in Ekeren, een verjaardagsfeest voor vrienden die echte Japanreizigers waren, taiko-begeleiding bij een afscheid of bij een boot tewaterlating van bevriende Wereldreizigers...Vervolgens organiseerde de gemeente Duffel een “markt voor Amateurkunsten & Ambachten” en met diverse taiko-optredens en gaf Gin no Piyoko ook ondersteuning aan braderijen van de Winkelvereniging, aan de historische Ballonnekesstoet, aan een Wintermarkt, enz...
Ook Wijkfeesten in het Antwerpse volgden, Azië-dagen in Lokeren en met "Taiko Peace Project" namen ze deel aan een HiroshimaHerdenking in Gent. Op vraag van verschillende organisaties verzorgde Gin no Piyoko Taiko groep eveneens initiaties - taiko kennismakingssessies voor bezoekers en toeschouwers.
Sinds 2015 spelen de vrijwilligers van het "Taiko Peace Project" meerdere keren per jaar samen in verschillende steden van Vlaanderen.
Er kwamen eveneens occasionele samenwerkingen met andere muziekgenres tot stand, zoals o.a. met jazzsaxofonist Niek Kortekaas, sopraan Kyoko Ishida, Close Harmony Ram-koor enz...
Wadaiko Gin no Piyoko wil graag hun passie delen en Taiko meer bekendheid geven via optredens en initiaties. Dit kan via ons aanbod : pop-up performances, ongeveer 15 min of een mini-concert van 30 min, bij opening nieuwe zaak, product lancering, aandacht voor een event, kennismaking met Taiko via initiaties, ongeveer 20min, als onderdeel en ter ondersteuning van een evenement, stimuleren tot beweging in groepsverband via team-workshops van 2u à 3u.

Fin 2013, tout commença très modestement à l'occasion d'une fête de quartier à Ekeren, puis une fête d'anniversaire pour des amis très « nipponophiles », un accompagnement taiko lors d'un adieu et mise à l'eau du bateau d'amis globe-trotters.
Par la suite, la municipalité de Duffel a organisé un "Marché d'Arts et Métiers Amateurs" et en donnant différents spectacles de taiko, Gin no Piyoko a également apporté son soutien à entre autre des foires de l’association des commerces, de l'historique ‘Balonnekesstoet’, d'un marché d’hiver, etc…
A Anvers il y eu des fêtes de quartier, à Lokeren les Journées de l’Asie et ensemble avec "Taiko Peace Project" ils participèrent à une commémoration d’Hiroshima à Gand.
À la demande de diverses organisations, le groupe Gin no Piyoko Taiko a également organisé des séances d'initiation au taiko pour des visiteurs et spectateurs.
Depuis 2015, les volontaires du "Taiko Peace Project" jouent plusieurs fois par an dans différentes villes de Flandre.
Il y eut aussi des collaborations occasionnelles avec d'autres genres musicaux, comme avec le saxophoniste de jazz Niek Kortekaas, la soprano Kyoko Ishida, le choeur Close Harmony Ram, etc…
Wadaiko Gin no Piyoko aimerait partager sa passion et donner plus de notoriété au Taiko avec des concerts et des initiations. Ceci est possible grâce à notre offre d’activités :
Concerts pop-up momentanés d'environ 15 minutes, mini-concerts de 30 minutes, accompagnement pour l'ouverture d’une nouvelle entreprise, pour le lancement d'un produit ou pour attirer l'attention pour un événement.
Initiation au Taiko, environ 20 minutes, comme accompagnement dans le cadre d'un événement.
Encourager l’exercice physique en groupe avec des workshops en équipe de 2 h à 3 heures.

At the end of 2013, it all began very modestly during a neighborhood party in Ekeren, a birthday celebration for friends who were true travelers to Japan, and taiko accompaniment at a farewell or boat launch for fellow world travelers. Subsequently, the municipality of Duffel organized a "market for Amateur Arts & Crafts" with various taiko performances. Gin no Piyoko also provided support for the Winkelvereniging (Shop Association) fairs, the historic Ballonnekesstoet (Ball Parade), a Winter Market, and more.
Neighborhood parties in Antwerp followed, along with Asia Days in Lokeren, and with the "Taiko Peace Project" they participated in a Hiroshima Commemoration in Ghent. At the request of various organizations, the Gin no Piyoko Taiko group also provided initiations – taiko introductory sessions for visitors and spectators.
Since 2015, the volunteers of the "Taiko Peace Project" have performed together several times a year in various cities in Flanders. Occasional collaborations with other musical genres also took place, such as with jazz saxophonist Niek Kortekaas, soprano Kyoko Ishida, and the Close Harmony Ram Choir.
Wadaiko Gin no Piyoko is eager to share their passion and raise awareness of Taiko through performances and initiations. This can be done through our offerings:
